A Basics DSLR Camera Class for Moms (of babies and/or furbabies!) and People who want to capture their lives more beautifully!

What is this class?

Captured is an online 4 week beginner camera basics course that will help you to better capture the everyday moments happening around you.  There will be 1 module each week, and each.  over the parts of your DSLR camera, lenses, camera settings for shooting in manual (shutter speed, aperture, and ISO), how to shoot in different situations (e.g. indoor vs. outdoor and movement vs. still photos), and image storage & backup. There will be 4 one hour sessions with me (1 per week for a month), a workbook, and “homework” to practice what you’ve learned!

Who will benefit from this class?

This class is designed for moms (or dads!) who have a basic DSLR camera (where they can shoot in manual mode) who want to take better photos of their kids or pets!  This course is also for non-photographers who just want to take better photos of nature, landscapes, etc. This class is not designed for amateur photographers or people who have been using their camera & are comfortable shooting in manual mode, because it would most likely be boring for you!

When is the course?

I will be offering a class in June & a class in July.  The sessions will be on Thursday evenings from 8pm until 9pm EST.

How many people will be in the course?

Each 4 week course will only have 3-4 attendees.  I want to keep class sizes small so that you can get the most out of this course as possible!
