A couple of weeks ago I drove back to my old ‘stomping grounds’ for a college senior session with Christina! Blacksburg is beautiful in the Spring, and the excitement about graduation & wrapping up the year was palpable as we walked around campus! It brought back some great memories! :) We were able to grab lots of shots in front of some of Virginia Tech’s ‘iconic’ spots for Christina’s more formal ‘cap & gown’ photos...despite the tons and tons of other seniors taking photos! ;) I don’t know that I’ve ever seen so many caps & gowns (other than at a commencement ceremony, of course) in my life! Ha! The awesome thing about Blacksburg, though, is that everyone is so considerate, and we had no trouble taking getting a turn in some of the most popular spots!
After our time on campus, we headed over to Heritage Park (If you live near Blacksburg and haven’t been there, it’s definitely worth a visit! One of my favorite places in Blacksburg!) just as the sun was beginning to set for some casual portraits. Christina is a natural in front of the camera, and even though she told me she didn't, I’m still not convinced that she doesn’t have modeling experience! ;)
Christina is so fun and laid back, and I enjoyed my time with her so much! She also brought a friend along to her session, Jendaya, who helped with her pup, Olivia! I love the images we were able to get with Christina and Olivia, and it makes me wish I had a pup in college, haha! ;)
Christina, I’m so excited for you and wish you all the best as you begin this new chapter of your life! :)
The light in Heritage Park is my favorite! All the heart eyes!
I had to include a close up of this sweet pup! She did so well! :)
