I met up with Lisa a couple of weeks ago for her senior portrait session, and we had a beautiful fall day! I was so happy to see that not ALL the leaves had fallen! ;)
We started Lisa’s session on Radford's campus, and she wore her cap & gown while I photographed her in some of the campus’ iconic locations! I realized that even though I’ve lived in the area for over 12 years, I had NEVER set foot on Radford’s campus!! Crazy! The campus is so pretty especially with all of the brick and the fall leaves!
After we wrapped up Lisa’s cap & gown portraits, we drove over to Sinkland Farms for a few more ‘casual’ photos right as the sun was beginning to set! The golden glow in the corn field was AMAZING, y’all!
One thing that really stood out to me about Lisa is how sweet & genuine she was. Throughout the entire session she kept thanking me for taking her portraits for her…and I kept thinking how thankful I was that she trusted me to capture this milestone for her! haha :) I am so, so thankful for this job that allows me to meet wonderful people like Lisa!
Lisa is graduating this month with a degree in Communication, and she’s planning to continue on to get her masters! I’m so excited for her as she begins this new chapter! Congratulations on this exciting milestone, Lisa!
I have so many favorites from this session, and this is one of them!
Beautiful!
I love those fall leaves! We caught the very tail end of the fall colors!
Caps & gowns are tricky, but Lisa makes them look SO good!!
The fountain at Radford University!
Another favorite!
Lisa, you're gorgeous, girl!
This one is a favorite for sure!
Absolutely stunning!!
The light here was just SO pretty!
This one is another favorite-- Lisa, you're gorgeous!
Right about at this point it started to get really cold! Around here, once that sun drops behind the mountains it feels like the temperature drops 20 degrees!
We were cold, but Lisa is totally rocking it! You can't even tell that we were shivering! ;)
