Photographing a newborn session with the sweetest family and an precious baby boy was the perfect way to start back to work after my maternity leave! Baby Owen was born a couple of weeks early and came as a surprise after a routine prenatal visit to Justine's doctor! I was at Justine & Dave's house just a week after Owen arrived, and he was so sweet and little! It’s amazing how quickly babies grow…at that point Jack was only 10 weeks old, but he seemed HUGE after holding little Owen!
When I arrived at their house, Owen’s big brother, Lawson, greeted me! He is just adorable, y’all, and he did so well for the session! The photos of him and Owen together just melt my heart! I loved chatting with Justine about Owen’s birth story and how the first week had gone! I’ve always loved newborn sessions, chatting with mamas about their experiences, and holding itty bitty babies, but but now that I’ve lived it and experienced that first week with a new babe…these sessions are just that much more special!
