Well, this is my last blog post before I head out on maternity leave, and it’s a little bitter sweet!! I do have a few things prepped and scheduled to go live while I’m off snuggling our new baby, but it’s a bit weird to think that it’s going to be a few months before I’m shooting again!!
This is a perfect way to sign off, though! I’m so excited to share my last 2018 Senior Representative post and introduce y’all to Rachel!
We had so much fun at her Hollins Senior Session, and I just love her personality! She’s one of those people who is so easy to talk to, and you feel comfortable with her after talking to her for just a few minutes! I’ve chatted with her a bit since the beginning of this year, and she is so responsible, poised, fun, and sweet!! Truly beautiful on the inside and out! :)
I’m so thankful to have her as one of my senior representatives this year, and I can’t wait to share her beautiful images with you! But first, her APP Senior Rep Interview so that y’all can get to know this sweet girl a little bit better! :)
What are you most looking forward to about your senior year?
I'm looking forward to being able to share my last few memories with my friends and classmates. We've all grown so close since elementary school and we've all developed into who we are today. I'm excited to see where God leads each of us.
If you could have given yourself one piece of advice as a freshman, what would that advice be?
My advice would be to know that high school flies by. So many people told me that it did and I took it for granted. Make sure you work hard every year, every year and grade counts.
Who is someone you really look up to and why?
I really look up to my dad. He is constantly working so hard so that me and my family can have the things we want, even when he knows he doesn't have to. He gives so much to others and God and I don't think he realizes how much I really love him. He's someone that i hope my future husband will be like.
What is your favorite song right now?
(Click the song title to listen to Rachel's favorite song while you browse through her images!)
I'm really liking "Craving You" by Thomas Rhett right now!
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
I would love to travel to Columbia and Spain! I'm going to Spain next year, but I would also like to visit Columbia. I'm so in love with the Spanish language and culture and I would love to see that environment in such beautiful countries.
Have you thought about what you're going to do after high school? If so, what would you like to do?
After I graduate I would like to attend college to become a Physician Assistant, maybe a doctor, I can't decide. I would also like to minor in Spanish and hopefully study abroad! I hope to use my knowledge of the Spanish language to help and reach others in the medical field or wherever God would like me to be!
