There’s a funny story that goes along with this newborn session, y’all. When I walked into Sarah & Lee’s home, it felt so welcoming & homey. At first I thought it was because our decorating styles are similar…blues, grays, whites (all the heart eyes) and because their family was so welcoming! That definitely was part of it, but then, I walked up stairs and realized that the floor plan of their house is the SAME EXACT floor plan as our house…it’s just a mirror image! How crazy is that?!
While little Wells ate and got settled, I had such a great time chatting with Sarah & Lee. They both grew up in the area, like Robert and I have, and we talked about how much Roanoke has grown over the years :) I love it when clients feel like friends, haha! I also got to snuggle with Deacon, their golden doodle! He was precious and is such a sweet, interested big brother! ;)
I absolutely loved all of the little personal details Sarah & Lee put into Wells’ nursery & outfits! So many beautiful monograms and precious photos & prints! Sarah even had a framed photo with Wells’ name, date of birth, and birth weight on the wall…and Wells was only 12 days old! Talk about being on top of things!!! I was so impressed!
Thank you Sarah & Lee for having me in your home to photograph your precious baby girl!
