Kristina | Senior Session

Blacksburg Senior Session at the Duck Pond & Heritage Park

When you’re wrapping up your session and your client says “I feel like we could have been friends if we had been in college at the same time!” you KNOW it was meant to be!! I have been so, SO blessed with sweet, joyful, wonderful clients, and Kristina is no exception!! More often than not I think to myself ‘I could be friends with this person!’ And that makes my job even more fun! I’m so thankful for that!

I met Kristina at the Duck Pond on Virginia Tech’s Campus for her senior portraits, and we had SUNSHINE!! (Side note: editing these images was wonderful, because I’ve started to forget what the sun looks like around here! Ha! SO. MUCH. RAIN!)  After the duck pond, we drove over to Heritage Park (this place has magical light every single time! I LOVE shooting there!) and snapped some photos of her and her pup, Denali!

When Kristina asked if her pup could be included in some of her photos, I was so excited! While puppies can sometimes be a little challenging to photograph, they always bring so much joy! Denali has been with Kristina through college, so it was only fitting to have her join in for some of Kristina’s senior portraits! …Just wait until you see this pup- she’s adorable!! Also, did I mention that Kristina is from ALASKA?!! I think she’s the first person I’ve met that’s actually from that state! Ha!

Kristina graduated last week with a degree in Mechanical Engineering— Congratulations, girl!! :)

Now, I hope you'll enjoy some of my favorites from this gorgeous girl's Blacksburg senior session!!!

Love these! Kristina, you're adorable!

Hello, gorgeous!!

We had to grab a few cap & gown shots!

And then we drove over to Heritage Park! And Denali had her model face ready to go! ;)

This one is definitely a favorite!!

So sweet!

GORGEOUS!!!

Seriously, Kristina could be a model!

Denali wanted to explore, so we grabbed a few shots, and I just love them! The light here is beautiful!!

Those mountains!!

Sweet puppy kisses! Love it!
