Logan | Senior Representative Session

I’m so excited to introduce y’all to another one of my sweet senior representatives!! We had Logan’s session a couple of weeks ago, and the weatherman was calling for storms ALL day long! Then all of the sudden the skies opened up in the late afternoon! We had already called off the shoot, but Logan texted me saying that her schedule was flexible and we could decide change the plan last minute of we needed to! And that’s exactly what we did, and I am SO glad we went ahead with her session!!!  We had a gorgeous evening with not even a drop of rain!!

Logan is absolutely, gorgeous, y’all, and she has such an amazing heart! I loved reading all of her responses to the ‘Porch Sit’ questions, and I think you will, too!

What are you most looking forward to about your senior year?

I think the thing that excites me most about my senior year is completing this chapter of my life with the ones who love and support me.  We’ve already been through so much in such a short period of time and before we know it, we’ll all be starting a new chapter with new opportunities.

If you could have given yourself one piece of advice as a freshman, what would that advice be?

My freshman year would have been much easier if I hadn’t stressed so much.  In my past three years of high school, I’ve learned, that while grades matter, so does living life to the fullest.  One bad grade doesn’t determine my future, and my newly found confidence and trust in God will determine my path.

Who is someone you really look up to and why?

I’ve always looked up to my mom ever since I was little.  She is my backbone, my biggest supporter, my teacher, my sanity, and my best friend.  I honestly don’t know how she deals with me sometimes, but I do know that it’s always out of love.  She is one of the strongest people I know; I only hope to one day be at least half the woman she is!

What is your favorite song right now?

I absolutely love singing and listening to music; this is so difficult to just choose one!  My younger sister and I sing “Oceans” by Hillsong United all the time at home.  I can honestly say it is my favorite because I love the message of our Lord that is conveyed through the lyrics. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

I would love to travel to Scotland at least once in my life!  My family is of Scottish descent and I think it would be wonderful to learn where my family comes from to fully appreciate my pale skin and freckly face.

Have you thought about what you’re going to do after high school?  If so, what would you like to do?

I often think about what life holds for me after high school.  Right now, I hope to attend Virginia Tech and major in either Architecture or Engineering.  I know there’s still plenty of time to change my mind; however, wherever my heart and God lead me is where I’m meant to go!
